Lead Youth Worker – Shilbottle Children and Young People’s Project

SCYPP is looking for an enthusiastic, well-motivated, reliable person to lead the Children’s and Young People work delivering  our sessions to children and young people from the Shilbottle area, including our toddler group, and sessions aimed at Primary  School aged Children and Secondary School aged Young People. The sessions will be based at Shilbottle Community Hall,  although we do encourage trips and sessions beyond the village  to give the Children and Young People experiences they wouldn’t  normally have. 

The successful candidate will plan and facilitate activities and support young people to fulfil their aspirations, creating a fun and safe environment for them to socialise in and engage with others, along with overseeing our Support Worker, managing the activity budget and keeping all necessary paperwork up to date.

Hours: 15 hours per week.
Sessions are currently Monday 10am – 12 noon, 3pm to 4:30pm and 4:45pm to 6:15pm. And Wednesday 5pm to 6:30pm.

Pay rate: £15.18 to £16.98 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
