Young Women’s Participation Worker – ARCH Teesside

ARCH Teesside is delighted to be working in partnership with Middlesbrough & Stockton Mind and Youth Focus NorthEast (YFNE) to recruit to an exciting new role working with young women.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic team player with a passion for supporting young women to have a voice. The project will focus on improving and influencing mental health provision and aims to reduce barriers to support/services for young women aged between 16-25 years.

You will lead on engaging young women, supporting, and upskilling them to share their views and experiences. Working creatively, you will co-produce ways in which their ideas can influence local services and systems.

Using strengths-based approaches, you will identify and work alongside young women to help them see what they can achieve by sharing their voice. We are looking for a strong advocate for young women, with a passion for co-production that will always ensure young women are central to the project.

Salary: £24,240 pro rata per annum (Actual £19,394/£13.32 per hour)

Hours: 28 hours per week worked flexibly according to project needs

Location: Working across Teesside with office location in Middlesbrough

Holidays: Starting at 25 days per annum plus public bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time)
